Remember, O man, that thou art dust,

and to dust, thou shalt return.

the Lord of all will burn.

“Hosanna to the King!”

Then bathe yourself in those same palms,

as winter turns to spring.

Remember, O man, to kill the flesh

and let a new man rise.

Remember, O man, you’re born again,

made good and pure and wise.

Then dine and feast and sing aloud

when Alleluias ring.
